At McCutcheon’s, we are all about taking our products and using them in our own kitchens. We love to go beyond the PB&J’s and create timeless homemade classics. Over the years we have come up with our own cooking creations, but we would love to hear about your own culinary creations using McCutcheon’s products.
Comment below to share what you have discovered while cooking with McCutcheon’s and to get the opportunity to write your own guest blog post about it!

I just started a small bakery in New York called Pie Country. And yes, we specialize in pies. One of our exclusive signature items is what we call a “Pi Square”. It will remind you of a Pop Tart. But these lovely buttery pastry pockets are filled with McCutcheon’s Blackberry, Blueberry or Strawberry Preserves along with a nice slice of cream cheese, then we top it with a thin covering of lemon icing. It’s a perfect breakfast or anytime snack! Using McCutcheon’s always delivers the freshest and purest fruit taste.
Wow, Alicia, these Pi Squares sound amazing. Next time McCutcheon’s is in New York for business we will be sure to stop by and see what you have cooked up. We also love recipes suggestions from business who use our products. If you have any you would like to share, we would love to feature them on this blog. Thanks for letting us know about how you use our stuff! Congrats on opening your Pie Shop. If I believe in one thing, it is that the world can never have enough good pie. Good luck.
Received a jar of Blueberry preserves and eating it on ice cream.
It is great!!!!
I’m hooked on ur Bread & Butter Pickles!
what retailers in the 23221 or 23451 zip codes carry your product? FYI – Whole Foods in Richmond does NOT carry your marinara.
Hi Ellen. Unfortunatly not all Whole Food Markets carry our products, only select stores. However some Southern States stores do carry our products. I would recommend checking first with them and if they do not carry it call our local distributer National Express at 800-288-2298. If none of these options provide you with a resource we do see it in our online shop at McCutcheons.com. Thanks for your interest.
Do you have a recipe using apple butter barbecue sauce?
Not yet. But I have a bbq recipe I have been planning to do. in your honor, it will be the next one I do on the blog.
I was given a jar of your apple butter BBQ also and am waiting to experiment with it also (as i do not want to burn the apple, only singe it)!!

Hooked on Beet Balls we each have to have our own jar and we don’t share lol thanks McCutcheons for a great product
Thanks for your continued support!
My wife picked up the Pumpkin Butter at a local farmers market. I tried it on my pancakes for breakfast… TO DIE FOR!!!!! Deee Lish!!! We MUST get more of your products.
i am glad you liked it Ken. It’s my brothers favorite too. He calls it Pumpkin Pie on a spoon. If you liked it on pancakes, try it on cinnamon bagel with cream cheese. A dangerously good combination.
I used to live in Frederick growing up and my Dad always bought McCutcheon’s apple cider and other products. My husband is military and we have lived in Asia, Europe, and other parts of the US. I have yet to find an apple cider as good as yours. I am excited for when I live back in the area and go there again!
Thank you so much for your kind words. McCutcheon’s is always proud to know that even when our customers move away, they are still faithful to us.
Hi, I have recently discovered your apple butter bbq sauce and just adore it. I was wondering how long, once opened, the sauce will stay good to eat since it doesn’t have any preservatives? Thanks!
Hi Stephanie. I am glad to hear our apple butter BBQ has been so good for you. I would treat the sauce like you would ketchup. it should keep for quite a while after opening if you store it in the fridge. If it begins to taste acidic, that is a sign that it is likely gone bad.
Great, thanks so much for getting back to me! I made a delicious bbq cheddar stuffed turkey loaf recipe using the apple butter bbq sauce, turned out wonderfully. Thanks for such a great product. I love the sauce so much I even gave it as christmas gifts! 🙂 http://cookinfanatic.com/2013/01/bbq-cheddar-stuffed-turkey-loaves-ige-inspired/
Great delivery. Outstanding arguments. Keep up the great spirit.
Your garden spaghetti is great. Thank you for making a tasty low salt product.
